“For the Tule River Tribe, it was imperative to tell their story. The tribe recently celebrated its 150th anniversary of sovereignty this past January. The casino, founded in 1996, is owned by the Tule River Tribe. Over 1,000 team members will be working at the new location, stated Eagle Mountain Casino. Also, 66 TVs will be visible throughout the whole restaurant.
Their Redwood Taphouse will feature 208 seats with 24 slot machines in the bar.
“We will have full cocktail service throughout the casino floor,” stated Bradford Hamilton, Food and Beverage Director at Eagle Mountain Casino. When the property opens on May 9, it will be the first time the new location will serve alcohol to patrons over 21 years old. There will be 1,750 new slot machines, 20 more table games, and a 2,000-seat state-of-the-art event center, according to a release from Eagle Mountain. The new casino property has doubled in size, now over 100,000 square feet. It will be located at 1850 West Street, just off Highway 65, next to the Porterville Fairgrounds.
